In order to get what they want, Marcus and his half-brothers decide to come together to help each other get ahead. And what Marcus wants is his little sister Louisa to have a successful season without falling for what he believes to be the insincere affections of Simon, the Duke of Foxmoor. In order to protect his sister, he proposes that Foxmoor can court her if he can court Foxmoor's sister Regina. But in executing this plan, Marcus fails to protect his heart.
