This was an easy read, not much action but a love story where two people met in unusual circumstances and fell in love despite the spiteful words and lies. Hope was not the spunky heroine I always liked but she had attitude, a warm heart that endears everybody. Zack was the stiff and heartless corporate bastard whose life was changed by a woman on the other line. It's amazing how some of the ice around him slowly melted because of Hope and there's a little humor here so I enjoyed reading it. Since this is fiction, fast-paced attraction wasn't really realistic in the long run. The story had drama, a little comedy, suspense, and action, there were a lot of touching moments here, the love scenes were passionate but didn't really sizzle, and the writer really introduced the characters well enough, some of them were just one of us normal people and when a good deed was done, it would certainly come back to the doer tenfold. It's a good read I finished it in one sitting. ( )
