O mojej biblioteceMy current library is around 1/4 of the books I would love to own and around 1/6 the books I would like to own. But I add to both of those lists all the time.

The lack of accurate binding information on Amazon.com is a personal pet peeve.

I have read far more books than are in my library. I have usually lived in apartments and do not keep every book. If a book fails standard, I give it away.

Yeah, I too looked for years for a hardcover of A Little White Horse - also City of Bells, one of my other faves by Goudge.

Your review of 'Seven Chinese Brothers' cracked me up! I remember reading the 'Five Chinese Brothers' as a kid, and when I saw this newer book I thought "Uh...where'd the extra brothers come from?"

You're very welcome! That book had been nagging at me for ages before I finally rediscovered it here.

Oh, but that post of mine is old -- I'm only a month shy of 36 now!

I know...people post about so many titles I've never heard of, let alone read. It's refreshing to find someone with "overlapping" nostalgia.

Thanks! It's ever-evolving. Lately, I've had to shed a few books (ones that I didn't think I'd reread, or that my husband also owned) to make room for the new additions.
