am 200 pages into The 18th Wife....you have done a great job...really enjoying it...wish I was still in the indep. book business...would hand sell the hell out of it.

I am 2/3 through The 19th Wife. Already recommended it to many like-minded friends, all of us are spinning and screaming and thrashing with outrage at the shameful behavior of the Firsts. I wish this book would go on forever - it's so well written, well paced and enlightening, oh so enlightening.

Hi,
I just wanted tell you how much I enjoyed "The Danish Girl". The flow of identity from Einar to Lili was intriguing and it was interesting to see transsexualism portrayed through something other than the modern ideas on gender identity. Anyway, I thought the book was wonderful and I can't wait to get my hands on the "19th Wife"! ~Kate

Just got my hands on a copy of the rose city, can't wait to get into it. Just now from your author page saw what The Danish Girl is about and can't wait to get my hands on that too.

Not only did I love "The 19th Wife," but you were dead on with your recommendation on Planet Books Blog for "American Wife." I was much more confident to read the ARC I had after reading how much you liked it and now I'm very glad, because I thought it was fantastic.

Thanks for writing "The 19th Wife". At the risk of sounding sycophantic, the book astonished me -- much in the same way that "The Corrections" did back when it came out. I wish it all the best, the book deserves to go far.
